Here is a list of various types of extinguishers:

ABC Fire Extinguishers

BC Fire Extinguishers

BC fire extinguishers can put out class B fires involving flammable liquids and gases, oil, solvents, grease, tars, lacquers, and oil best paints. This type is also effective for Class C fires, involving energized electrical equipment.

Clean Agent Fire Extinguishers

It is a type of gaseous fire suppression. The gas reduces the oxygen level of the fire impeding the chain reaction. Clean agent fire extinguishers are non conductive, safe, eco friendly, and clean.

CO2 Fire Extinguishers

The carbon dioxide extinguisher is one of the cleanest extinguishers that doesn't require any cleanup. CO2 fire extinguishers use carbon dioxide to displace oxygen which effectively suffocates the fire.

Kanex Type of Fire

D Class Fire:

A class D fire includes combustible metals such as magnesium, potassium, etc which are extremely explosive in nature. A highly specialized extinguishing agent is needed to subdue metal fire or else firefighting can be fatal.

Class E Fire:

A Class E fire or Electrical fire arising out from electrically energized devices.

K Class Fire OR Class F Fire:

F OR K type fire caused by super-heated cooking oil or fats is called class F fire. It is a major source of fires in the kitchen.
